live quotes from BSE and NSE, business and stock market news on your desktop
without browsing and while continuing your normal day to day work.
- What is it?
It is a scrolling ticker
that shows live quotes from BSE and NSE and the information is updated
live so as to enable you to get the most recent quotes. We also provide
live news on business (ticker 1) and stock markets (ticker 2).
- Why should I use it?
- You can get latest updated quotes from
NSE and BSE.
- For business news and stock market news.
- You can customize the ticker to scroll
only those scrips that you want to track.
- How can I get it?
Just click on the appropriate
link to the right and then follow the instructions provided in the download
section.
- How to download?
Please follow the instructions
given below:
- After you click
on the Download Now button, the download window appears.
Select the "Save to Disk" option. Then click OK.
- After the file
download is complete, the tick.exe icon will apear on your desktop
- Click on this icon
and unzip window will appear. Now click on "Extract"
button.
- In case your system
needs file updation, the computer will prompt you to restart.
- Please click "OK"
to restart your computer and then again click on "Tick.exe"
icon and in unzip window, click Extract
- The setup will
automatically run for you and follow the instructions to finish the
installation.
- Then click on Start,
go to Programs and click on Desktop Ticker.
- How to use it?
- Before using the desktop ticker ensure
that you are connected to the Internet. Thereafter, just load the ticker
and wait for few seconds till it updates the information and provides
you the data.
- If you use proxy server, please ensure
that the proxy is valid and running.
- You can adjust the speed of the ticker
as per your requirement and comfort.
- How to customize the ticker?
- The unique property of customization has
been provided with the ticker. With this property you can select the
scrips you want on your ticker.
- The selection of the scrips can be done
on www.5paisa.com by registering yourself.
If you are not a registered user we request you to register first.
- You should right click on the 5paisa logo
and select preferences and go to customization tab. Enter your login
and password and then click apply for viewing your selected scrips.
