India has a significant position in the global education industry thanks to its extensive network of renowned educational institutions. Enormous potential exists in the field of education as India has the largest population in the world in the age range of 5 to 24 years. Given the industry’s contribution to the economy and the projected CAGR of around 20% for the Indian online education industry from 2021 to 2025, 100% of foreign direct investments (FDI) are permitted via the automatic route in the education sector.

There are many listed education stocks, with Veranda Learning Solutions, Shanti Educational Initiatives, Career Point Ltd, CL Educate Ltd, and Zee Learn Ltd among the top market capitalization companies. When the performance of selected education stocks was compared over a one-month period, Vantage Knowledge Academy, a micro-cap stock, led the list with outstanding returns of nearly 150 per cent in just one month! On an intraday basis on Friday, shares of Vantage Knowledge Academy surged and locked at 5% upper circuits, reaching a 52-week high of Rs 51.59 per share on the BSE.

Career Point Ltd also performed well compared to other educational stocks. Since 1993, it has been a leading Indian education company offering quality education. Career Point meets a student's requirements throughout his academic career (KG to PhD). Pre-school, school education, tutorial services, higher education, e-learning and vocational education are among the company's diverse and integrated services.
