The top five gainers in the Sensex pack are Larsen and Toubro, Infosys, NTPC, TCS, and HDFC Bank. On the flip side, the top 5 losers were Asian Paints, Axis Bank, Nestle SA, HDFC Ltd, and Hindustan Unilever (HUL).

The Nifty Midcap 100 index is trading at 31,928.45 and is down by 0.21%. The top 3 gainers of the index were RBL Bank, IRCTC, and Oberoi Realty. Each of these scrips was up by 4%. Similarly, the top 3 stocks dragging the index were Mindtree, AU Small Finance Bank, and Mphasis.

The Nifty Smallcap 100 index is trading at 11,915.25, up by 0.80%. The top 3 gainers of the index were Rossari, Sterling Wilson, and Alok Industries. Each of these scrips was up by more than 6%. The top 3 stocks dragging the index were Dilip Buildcon, KEC International, and Welspun India.

On the sectoral front, almost all the Nifty indices were dragging on the bourses. Whereas BSE Consumer Durables was up by more than 5% and Nifty Healthcare gained more than 2%.
