List of Penny Stocks: Penny Stocks Those Were Locked in the Upper Circuit on Thursday, March 03

At 10.30 am on Thursday, headline indices Sensex and Nifty were trading flat. As the tensions between Russia and Ukraine still persist, almost a million people have fled Ukraine, and are now sheltering in the neighbouring countries as refugees.

The Indian Government has launched “Operation Ganga” to evacuate Indians stranded in Ukraine and has successfully brought around 17,000 natives back to the country.

The Sensex was at 55,549.96 up by 81.06 points or 0.13%, and the Nifty was at 16,635.70 up by 19.90 points 0.12%.  

The top 5 gainers in the Sensex pack are Tech Mahindra, Wipro, HCL Technologies, Tata Steel, and Infosys. Whereas, the top 5 losers are Asian Paints, UltraTech Cement, Kotak Mahindra, Axis Bank, and Dr Reddy’s Laboratories.   

The Nifty Midcap 100 index is trading at 28,373.75 and is up by 0.56%. The top three gainers of the index were Adani Total Gas, Fortis Healthcare, and Tata Chemicals. Each of these scrips was up by more than 5%. Similarly, the top 3 stocks dragging the index down were Gujarat Gas, Max Financial Services, and AU Small Finance Bank.  

The Nifty Smallcap 100 index is trading at 9,975.20 up by 0.82%. The top 3 gainers of the index were Cyient, Hind Copper, and Sterlite Technologies. Each of these scrips was up by more than 6%. The top stocks pulling the index down are Kajaria Ceramics, Karur Vysya Bank, and PVR.

The sectoral indices on the Nifty were all trading in the green with Nifty Metal, Nifty energy, Nifty PSE, and Nifty Oil & Gas being up by more than 1%.
