At 1 pm on Tuesday, headline indices Sensex and Nifty were seen trading at day’s high as the indices were slightly trading in the green after opening on the lower side.

The Sensex was at 57,663.69, up by 371.20 points or 0.65%, and the Nifty was at 17,218.90, up by 101.30 points or 0.59%.

The top gainers in the Sensex pack are Reliance Industries, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Power Grid Corporation, and Infosys. Whereas, the top five losers were Nestle India, HUL, SBI, Asian Paints, and Mahindra & Mahindra.

The Nifty Midcap 100 index is trading at 28,844.85 and is down by 0.18%. The top three gainers of the index were Indian Hotels Company, Varun Beverages, and LIC Housing Finance Company. Each of these scrips was up by more than 3%. Similarly, the top 3 stocks dragging the index include Zee Entertainment Enterprises, Dixon Technologies, and Whirlpool India.

The Nifty Smallcap 100 index is trading at 10,326.40 up by 0.23%. The top 3 gainers of the index are Graphite India, HEG, and Rain Industries. Each of these scrips was up by more than 5%. The top stocks pulling the index down were Future Retail. Wockhardt, and Carborundum Universal.

The sectoral indices on the Nifty were trading mostly trading on the bearish side as Nifty FMCG, Nifty Realty, Nifty Consumer Durables and Nifty Consumption indices were down by almost 2%. Whereas, Nifty IT, Nifty Energy, and Nifty Oil & Gas were up by more than 1%.
