Whereas, stocks that dragged BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 down were Infosys Ltd, ICICI Bank Ltd, HDFC Ltd, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd and Bajaj Finance Ltd.

Among BSE equity indices, S&P BSE Information Technology, S&P BSE TECk, S&P BSE Capital Goods, S&P BSE MidCap Select Index, S&P BSE SmallCap Select Index and S&P BSE Realty are top losers. BSE Information Technology consisting of stocks such as Persistent Systems Ltd, Larsen & Toubro Infotech Ltd, Intellect Design Arena Ltd, Kellton Tech Solutions Ltd, KPIT Technologies Ltd, Xelpmoc Design and Tech Ltd, Firstsource Solutions Ltd, L&T Technology Services Ltd and Coforge Ltd are the top drags.
