Today is the second day in a row where the Indian equity market closed up with a green mark. Besides, all sectoral indices closed on a positive note.

In today’s trade Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex indices closed up by 184.60 points i.e., 1.10% and 611.55 points i.e., 1.09%, respectively. Stocks that supported BSE Sensex to pull the index up were Reliance Industries Ltd, Bajaj Finance Ltd, ICICI Bank Ltd and Larsen & Toubro Ltd. Stocks that dragged the BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 down were Wipro Ltd and ITC Ltd. The BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 Index opened up by 0.49% and 0.56%, respectively from their previous close.

In Wednesday's trading session the S&P BSE Realty, S&P BSE Industrials, S&P BSE Energy, S&P BSE Capital Goods, S&P BSE Metal, S&P BSE Auto and S&P BSE MidCap were top gainers. BSE Realty index consisting of stocks such as Brigade Enterprises Ltd, Macrotech Developers Ltd, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd, Sobha Ltd, Oberoi Realty Ltd, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd, Godrej Properties Ltd and Sunteck Realty Ltd were the top gainers.
