Low Price Shares locked in Upper Circuit on Jun 30

Domestic indices turn flat amid volatility dragged by realty and metal stocks.
Most Asian markets fell again Thursday on the fears of surging inflation and aggressive measures taken by various central banks. Chinese data offered some light as China’s Shanghai SE Composite index surged over 1% in an otherwise weak market.
SGX Nifty indicated a flat opening with a loss of 12 points. Expectedly, Indian domestic indices were trading sideways. At 12:15 pm, the Nifty 50 was trading at the 15,766.30 level, declining by 0.21%. On the Nifty 50 index, the top gainers were HDFC Life Insurance Company, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Axis Bank whereas Cipla, JSW Steel and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation were the top losers of the session.
Sensex was trading at a level of 52,937.48, down by 0.17%. The stocks trading in the green were Kotak Mahindra Bank, Axis Bank and Titan. Tech Mahindra, Bajaj Finance and Tata Steel were the market draggers. On the sectoral front, most of the sectors were trading downwards whereas BSE Realty and BSE Metals were the hardest hit sectors with losses of nearly 2% each.
The government approved a plan and allowed local crude manufacturers to sell oil to private companies. It will help state-run producers such as ONGC and Oil India in order to raise the revenue. The decision would be effective from October 1.
