Indian benchmark indices opened marginally higher but picked up pace towards noon. The domestic indices, Nifty and Sensex reversed the weakness in Asian markets and gained with buying in banks, metals and media stocks. The market participants are likely to focus on the meeting later in the day of the OPEC+, where they may decide to keep current output levels or even cut production to support prices, despite supplies remaining tight.
