Penny Stocks Locked in the Upper Circuit on September 8, 2022

Domestic indices trade higher, boosted by gains in the banking, finance, and auto sectors. 

Overnight, Wall Street indices experienced their biggest increase in about a month. The most profitable stocks were in the technology and retail sector, while the worst performers were energy stocks. All major Asian markets rose alongside Wall Street except for China and Hong Kong.

Following is the list of penny stocks locked in the upper circuit on September  8. Keep a close eye on these counters for the upcoming sessions.

The session was off to an optimistic start for Indian domestic indices. Gains in the banking, finance, and auto sectors boosted the markets. The only two falling sectors were BSE Metals and BSE Consumer Durables. The top gainers on the BSE were Kaarya Facilities and Services, Dolfin Rubbers, and Pranavaditya Spinning Mills, which locked in 20% upper circuits.

At 12:15 pm, the BSE Sensex surged 0.79%, reaching a level of 59,493. The Nifty 50 index climbed 0.71% to 17,749 level. The biggest gainers on the Sensex were Mahindra and Mahindra, Axis Bank and ICICI Bank whereas Tata Steel, Nestle India and Power Grid Corporation of India were the top losers.

In the broader markets, the BSE Midcap index gained 0.34% and was trading at a level of 25,907 while the Smallcap index advanced 0.71% and was trading at a level of 29,507.
