L&T

Engineering and infrastructure conglomerate Larsen & Toubro (L&T) posted a 25% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit, reaching ₹5,497 crore for the quarter ending March 31, 2025. The growth was primarily driven by a strong uptick in revenue.

Biocon

Biocon announced a sharp rise in its consolidated net profit, which more than doubled to ₹344 crore in the March 2025 quarter. This strong performance was supported by healthy sales across its various business segments. In comparison, the biotech firm had reported ₹136 crore in profit during the same quarter last year.

Titan Company

Stock Market Outlook for Today:

  • Weak Opening Despite Positive Global Cues - Despite overnight gains in the US (Nasdaq +1.07%, Dow +0.62%) and strength in Asian peers like Nikkei (+1.40%), the Nifty 50 opened sharply lower at 23,935.75 — down 1.39% from its previous close — suggesting potential caution among domestic investors.
  • F&O Data Signals Bearish Bias - A low Put-Call Ratio (PCR) for both Nifty (0.91) and Bank Nifty (0.78) indicates a potential higher call writing and a bearish undertone. Max pain levels at 24,200 (Nifty) and 54,300 (Bank Nifty) suggest limited upside unless sentiment shifts.
  • Mixed Institutional Flows May Add Volatility - While Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers at ₹2,008 crore, Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) turned sellers with ₹596.2 crore outflow. This divergence may result in choppy intraday moves.
