On Friday, some of the low-price shares were catching attention during the trading session.

The benchmark indices are seen trading on a lower side with BSE Sensex squeezing 267.13 points or 0.45% down at 58,540 level.

Among the stocks included in Sensex, Asian Paints is the top BSE Sensex gainer up by more than 2.9% along with M&M, Sun Pharma, TCS and IndusInd Bank being the top gaining stocks. Titan is the top BSE Sensex loser on Friday, trading more than 2.8% on the downside.

On the other hand, the broader markets are seen outperforming the benchmark indices. BSE Midcap is trading 0.1% higher and BSE Smallcap is trading 0.67% up.

Glenmark Pharma, Yes Bank, Cummins India, Crisil and IDFC First Bank are taking top positions in BSE Midcap index whereas NHPC has is trading in red of more than 2.7% in Friday’s trading session.

Reliance Communications, Mirza International, Bharat Road Network, Ganesh Benzoplast and CreditAccess Grameen are among the top BSE Smallcap index gainers on Friday.

All the sectoral indices are trading on a flat note with Consumer Durables Sector plunging 1.03%. Despite the drag experienced by BSE Consumer Durables index, Bajaj Electricals is the top gaining stock within the index, gaining 7.88%

The price-volume breakout is seen in some of the low-priced stocks in Friday’s trading session with several stocks being locked in the upper circuit.
