Domestic benchmark indices were trading higher while the outperforming sector was BSE Information Technology Index.

On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with Sensex up around 274 points or 0.45% at 60,699.99, and the Nifty trading up by 64 points or 0.36% at 17,834.75. About 1,176 shares have advanced, 2.001 declined, and 144 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows:
The top Sensex gainers were HCL Technologies, Reliance Industries and Tech Mahindra Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were NTPC Ltd, Sun Pharmaceuticals and Titan Company.

The BSE IT Index was the top-gaining sector, while the BSE Realty Index was the top loser. The BSE IT Index rose 1.32%, led by FCS Software Solutions and Cyient Ltd while the BSE Realty Index fell 1.97%, dragged by IB Real-estate and The Phoenix Mills.
