Domestic benchmark indices were trading higher while the outperforming sector was BSE IT Index.

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with Sensex up around 262 points or 0.43% at 61,536.75, and the Nifty trading up by 72 points or 0.41% at 18,088.75. About 1,933 shares have advanced, 1,370 declined, and 150 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows: 
The top Sensex gainers were Tech Mahindra, Nestle India and Asian Paints whereas the top Sensex losers were Bajaj Finance, Hindustan Unilever and Tata Motors.

The BSE IT Index was the top gainer on a sectoral basis, while the BSE Services Index was the top loser. The BSE IT Index rose 1.61%, led by Nucleus Software Exports and Tanla Platforms while the BSE Services Index fell 0.21%, dragged by EKI Energy Services and Inter Global Aviation.
