Domestic benchmark indices were trading lower with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.39 and the BSE Small cap index up 0.32%

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading lower with Sensex down around 212 points or 0.34% at 61,144 and the Nifty trading down by 71 points or 0.39% at 18,080. About 2,179 shares have advanced, 1,314 declined, and 136 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows: 
The top Sensex gainers were Hindustan Unilever, Asian Paints and ITC whereas the top Sensex losers were Bajaj Finance Larsen & Toubro and Axis Bank.

The BSE Realty Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE Information Technology Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Realty Index soared 0.80%, led by Godrej Properties and Brigade Enterprises while the BSE IT Index was down 0.70% dragged down by Sasken Technologies and D-Link India.
