The Indian benchmark indices were trading low and BSE Telecommunication Index was shining among all the sectoral indices, up by 3.35%

On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading lower with Sensex down around 458 points or 0.75% at 60,384.45, and the Nifty trading down by 135 points or 0.75% at 17,718.05.

Top Gainer & Losers on BSE:

IndusInd Bank, ITC Ltd and Power Grid Corporation Ltd were the top Sensex gainers today, while Infosys, Tata Steel Ltd and Kotak Mahindra Bank were the top Sensex losers.

The indices traded in a positive manner in the broader markets, with the BSE Mid-cap index soaring by 0.36% and the BSE Small-cap index soring by 0.49%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Vodafone Idea Ltd and Mahindra & Mahindra Finance Ltd, while the top small-cap gainers were D Link India and Voltamp Transformers Ltd.

The Telecommunication Index increased by 3.35%, led by Vodafone Idea Ltd and Indus Tower while the BSE Power Index fell by 1.30%, dragged down by Adani Green Energy Ltd and Adani Transmission Ltd.
