The Indian benchmark indices were trading higher with BSE Information Technology Index shining among all the sectoral indices.

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with Sensex up around 235 points or 0.38% at 60,521.05, and the Nifty trading up by 83 points or 0.47% at 17,803.30.

Top Gainer & Losers on BSE

UltraTech Cement, Infosys and Tata Consultancy Ltd were the top Sensex gainers today, while L&T, Tata Steel and Bharati Airtel were the top Sensex losers.

The indices traded in a flat manner in the broader markets, with the BSE Mid-cap index soaring by 0.12% and the BSE Small-cap index gaining 0.11%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Adani Power and Policy Bazaar Ltd, while the top small-cap gainers were Pearl Global Industries Ltd and 63 Moons Technologies Ltd.

The BSE IT Index increased by 1.55%, led by 63 Moons Technologies Ltd and ASM Technologies Ltd while the BSE Realty Index fell by 0.98%, dragged down by The Phoenix Mills Ltd and Mahindra Lifesciences Developers Ltd.
