The Indian benchmark indices were trading lower while the BSE Industrials Index was shining among all the sectoral indices.

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading lower with Sensex down around 250 points or 0.41% at 60,556.99, and the Nifty trading up by 75 points or 0.40% at 17,824.35.

Top Gainer & Losers on BSE: 

Mahindra & Mahindra, State Bank of India and L&T Ltd were the top Sensex gainers today, while Wipro, Tata Steel and Infosys Ltd were the top Sensex losers. 

The indices traded in a mixed manner in the broader markets, with the BSE Mid-cap index plunging by 0.48% and the BSE Small-cap index soaring by 0.11%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Cummins India and Aurobindo Pharmaceuticals, while the top small-cap gainers were Aarti Surfactants and Muthoot Capital Services Ltd.
