The Indian benchmark indices were trading lower with BSE Consumer Durables Index shining among all the sectoral indices, up by 0.75%.
On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading lower with Sensex down around 225 points or 0.39% at 57,331.73, and the Nifty trading down by 65 points or 0.40% at 16,905.30.
Top Gainer & Losers on BSE:
Titan India, Power Grid Corporation of India and Nestle India were the top Sensex gainers today, while Bharti Airtel, Indusind Bank and Tata Steel were the top Sensex loser.
The indices traded in a low manner in the broader markets, with the BSE Mid-cap index plunging by 0.90% and the BSE Small-cap index plunging by 0.1.20%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers are Hindustan Petroleum and Aurobindo Pharmaceuticals, while the top small-cap gainers were KBC Global Ltd and Hikal Ltd.

The indices were trading mixed on the sectoral front, with the BSE Consumer Durables Index leading the gainers and BSE Metals Index leading the losers. The BSE Consumer Durables Index soared by 0.75%, led by Titan India and Dixon Technologies while the BSE Metals Index plunged by 3.07%, dragged down by Hindalco and Jindal Steel.
