The Indian benchmark indices were trading higher while sectoral indices were trading mixed with BSE Power being the top-gaining sector today. 

On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with Sensex up around 240 points or 0.39% at 60,930.52, and the Nifty trading up by 61 points or 0.34% at 17,903.50. 

Top Gainer & Losers on BSE:

NTPC Ltd, Tata Steel and L&T Ltd were the top Sensex gainers today, while Sun Pharmaceuticals, Wipro India and Asian Paints were the top Sensex losers.

The indices traded in a higher manner in the broader markets, with the BSE Mid-cap index surging by 0.14% and the BSE Small-cap index surging by 0.37%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Adani Power and Tube Investments of India, while the top small-cap gainers were Kirti Industries Ltd and EKI Energy Ltd.
