What is Muhurat Trading??<\/strong><\/h2>

Muhurat Trading is held every year at the time of Diwali. The stock market exchanges open for one hour trading session on the occasion of Diwali. Investors place orders and buy stocks for them and their family which are held for long term.\u00a0 This year it Muhurat Trading session will be held on 12th<\/sup> November 2023. More than six decades ago, the tradition of Muhurat Trading was started at Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange<\/p>

It is considered as a symbolic and old ritual that has been retained since ages by the trading community. As Diwali also marks the beginning of the New Year it is a belief that Muhurat Trading on this particular day brings prosperity and wealth throughout the year. \u00a0<\/p>

  2. Pre-Open Session:- Where the stock exchange determines the equilibrium price<\/li>
  3. Normal Market Session:- The One hour session where most trading takes place.<\/li>
  4. Call Auction Session:- Where illiquid securities are traded. Security is termed illiquid if it satisfies the criteria set by the exchange.<\/li>
  5. Closing Session:- Where traders\/investors can place a market order at the closing price.<\/li><\/ol>
