મલ્ટિપલ્સમાંથી એક છે જેનો ઉપયોગ એનાલિસ્ટ દ્વારા સ્ટૉકના મૂલ્ય માટે કરવામાં આવે છે. ઘણા માને છે કે જે શેરોમાં 50 P/E થી વધુ મૂલ્ય હોય મેચ્યોરિટીના તબક્કે પણ પહોંચી ગયા નથી. આમાંની મોટાભાગની કંપનીઓ પાસે વિશાળ વિકાસની સંભવિત કંપનીઓ છે. જો આપણે એ વાત પર વિશ્વાસ કરીએ છીએ કે ભારતીય અર્થવ્યવસ્થા 5 ટ્રિલિયન-ડૉલર બેંકિંગ, એફએમસીજી, IT સુધી વધશે, તો ફાર્મા પાસે આગળ વધવા માટે ઘણું બધું છે. આજે અમેરિકામાં કેટલીક પ્રખ્યાત કંપનીઓ ટ્રિલિયન ડોલરની કંપનીઓ છે અને જ્યારે આપણે ભારતીય કંપનીઓની તેમની સાથે તુલના કરીએ છીએ ત્યારે ભારતીય કંપનીની માર્કેટ 400;\u0022\u003e ઉચ્ચ કિંમતના સ્ટૉક્સ ભવિષ્યમાં વધુ વધારી શકતા નથી: આ એક સૌથી સહેલી ગેરસમજો છે જે શરૂઆત કરનારાઓ પાસે બજારમાં પ્રવેશ કરતી વખતે હોય છે. તેઓ માને છે કે પેજ ઇન્ડસ્ટ્રીઝ જેવા સ્ટૉક જેની શેર
