Benefits

Permanent Total Disability (PTD)

Pays 100 percent of the sum insured for the tragic loss and provides for financial support to the family.

Permanent Partial Disablement (PPD)

Pays a pre defined percentage of the sum insured, based on severity of loss due to accident.

 

Product Features

Accidental Death

Pays the nominated family member the sum insured for the tragic loss and provides for financial support to the family.
This plan covers for accidental death up to sum insured but if an insured person is a fare paying passenger on a common carrier company will pay 200% of opted sum insured.

Orphan Benefit

In this plan, orphan benefit is also provided wherein even orphan child will be covered if any accident occurs even though if orphan is insured or not.
Any claim towards orphan benefit that becomes admissible where the dependent child is a minor, the orphan benefit shall be payable to the Legal Guardian.
Loss of employment

If the insured person is totally disabled from engaging in his/her primary occupation, then a monthly payout is given.
In case of,
Salaried person: A monthly income for 3 months, based on the last 3 months salary slip of previous employer of the insured person.
Self employed person: A monthly income for 3 months, based on the last income tax returns filed by the insured person with the income tax department.
Funeral expenses

In this plan, if the claim is accepted for insured person, funeral expenses will be bared by company.

Upto 50 lacs Rs. 5000
Above 50 lacs Rs. 10000
Company will make onetime payment equal to 10% of Sum Insured per surviving child of the Insured Person, for a maximum of 2 children, subject to maximum limit of Rs. 10,00,000 provided dependent child is less than 25 years of age.
Coma Benefit

If an insured person met with an accident and in case if he suffers from coma, then the company is liable to pay him.
If the insured person suffers from coma due to an injury solely and directly due to an accident, then the company will pay 25% of sum insured in respect of that insured person.
 

Exclusions

  • Any pre existing injury or physical condition.
  • Any intentional self inflicted injury, suicide or attempted suicide, sexually transmitted conditions, mental or nervous conditions, insanity, disorder, anxiety, stress or depression.
  • The insured person flying in an aircraft other than as a fare paying passenger in a Scheduled Airline.
  • The insured person engaging in sporting activities in so far as they involve the training for or participation in competitions of professional sports, unless declare before hand and agreed by the company in writing subject to additional premium being received and incorporated accordingly in the policy.
  • Insured Person serving in any branch of the military, navy or airforce or any branch of armed forces or any paramilitary forces.
  • Any claim related to hazardous activities.
  • Person whilst working with in underground mines, explosives, press, activities like racing or wheels or horseback or winter sports, canoeing involving white water rapids, any bodily contact sport.
  • Claim arising out of mental illness, stress, psychiatric or psycho logical disorders.
