Benefits

This plan provides a fixed daily cash benefit to an insured person for each continuous and completed period of 24 hours of hospitalization resulting due to an illness or injury which occurs during the policy period.

Sum Insured

Sum Insured is the amount of cover provided by the insurance company.
Daily Cash Benefit ranges from 500(1 Unit) to 5000 (10 Units) in multiple of 500.
Accidental Death & Permanent Total Disability cover from 50000 to 25 lacs.
Critical Illness Add on cover from 50000 to 25 lacs.
Sickness Hospital Cash benefit

Company will pay a daily cash benefit for hospitalization due to any illness.
Company will pay daily cash benefit for each continuous and completed period of 24 hours hospitalization due to any illness.
Accident Hospital Cash benefit

Company will pay a daily cash benefit for hospitalization due to an injury.
Company will pay 2 times the daily cash benefit for each continuous and completed period of 24 hours hospitalization due to an injury.
ICU Benefit

In this plan, company will pay for hospitalization in an Intensive care unit for treatment of illness and injury.
Company will pay 3 times the daily cash benefit. Coverage is limited to a maximum of 15 days per Insured person per policy year.
Company will pay 3 times the daily cash benefit for medically necessary treatment.
Convalescence benefit

If an insured need to stay for long in hospital then company pays a lump sum amount.
There can be a situation when an insured person may need a long stay in hospital, then the company will pay a lump sum equal to 5 times the Daily cash benefit for hospitalization of at least 10 consecutive days.
Compassionate benefit

If an unfortunate death occurs during the course of hospitalization due to an accidental injury then the company pays a lump sum amount.
Company will pay a lump sum amount equal to 10 times the daily cash benefit on unfortunate death of the insured person.
Day Care Treatments

These are treatments that don’t require a 24-hr hospitalization and conducted in a hospital or day-care center.
Company will pay a lump sum amount lower of 5 times the daily cash benefit or Rs. 25000/- to the insured person for day care treatment. The benefit shall be available for a maximum of 5 day care treatments per insured person per policy year. For cataract, coverage is limited to 1 surgery in a policy year per insured person.
