Zuari Industries Ltd is the holding company for Adventz Group of Companies and is involved in a variety of businesses like real estate, heavy engineering, lifestyle, and fertilizer. Total of 23 companies are part of the group. Additionally, the company sells sugar and its byproducts, furniture, ethanol, and generates power.
Talking about financials, the company has delivered poor numbers. For the last 9 years, the company has never reported a profit. Also, 10-year revenue growth remains weak at -9%.
About the shareholding pattern, 56.81% stake is owned by the promoters, FIIs and DIIs together hold 1.21%, Government holds 0.04%, and the rest 41.94% is owned by the non-institutional investors.
The company has a market capitalization of Rs 488.42 crore and is trading at 0.19 times its book value. The stock has a 52-week high and low of Rs 216.85 and Rs 115, respectively.
On August 4, the stock opened at Rs 167.8. At 11:30 am, the stock is trading at Rs 164 with a 0.74% gain from its previous close price of Rs 162.8.
