HDFC Ltd: Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd is India’s leading housing finance provider. With effect from 1st May 2022 HDFC has increased its Retail Prime Lending Rate (RPLR) on which its Adjustable-Rate Home Loans (ARHL) are benchmarked, by 5 basis points. Today it has announced its Q4 results. For the quarter which ended on March 2022, the standalone net profit stood at Rs 3700.32, a surge of 16.36% compared to Rs 3179.83 crore it had reported the previous year. The total revenue from operations has witnessed an increase of 5 per cent to Rs 12,300 crore in the current quarter as against Rs 11,697 crore. The company has declared a dividend of Rs 30 per equity share for the year 2021-22. The company ended at Rs 2258.05 witnessing a 1.34%surge in today’s trading session.

Wipro Ltd: The company announced its Q4 results on Friday. On a consolidated basis, the company reported a rise of 3.97% in its net profit to Rs 3092.50 crore in the recent quarter as compared to Rs 2974.30 crore for the same quarter last year. Total income increased by 27.32% to Rs 21,362.80 crore for this quarter as compared to Rs 16,778.70 crore for the same quarter of last year. The company ended at Rs 495.90 witnessing a 2.57% decline in today’s trading session.

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd: India’s largest automaker reported its Q4 results on Friday. On a consolidated basis, the company reported a rise of 51.14% in its net profit at Rs 1875.80 crore for the current quarter as compared to Rs 1241.10 crore for the same quarter last year. Total income increased by 12.72% to Rs 27191.90 crore as compared to Rs 24124.20 crore for the corresponding quarter last year. The company sold a total of 150,661 units in April 2022 as compared to 159,691 units in April 2021. The company ended at Rs 7630.10 witnessing a 1.33% decline in today’s trading session.

UltraTech Cement Ltd: The country’s largest cement company announced its Q4 on Friday. On a consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 47.33% in its net profit at Rs 2,613.75 crore for the current quarter as compared to Rs 1,774.13 crore for the same quarter in the last year. Total income of the company increased by 9.63% to Rs 15,859.67 crore for Q4FY22 as compared to Rs 14,465.94 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The company ended at Rs 6672 witnessing a 0.65% surge in today’s trading session.

Coal India Ltd: The company posted a 15.6% growth in its supplies to the power sector in April 2022 compared to the same month last year. With the intense demand for coal continuing unabated driven by an upward spiral in the electricity generation CIL pushed up its supplies to power plants in the country to 49.7 million tons (MTs) in April 2022. This is 6.7 MTs more supply compared to April 2021 when the power sector’s dispatch was 43 MTs. The company ended at Rs 187.75 witnessing a 2.54% surge in today’s trading session.
