Low Price Shares locked in Upper Circuit on March 28

At 11 am on Monday, the core equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50, were fell by almost 1% as the crude oil price started to rise again, amidst the geopolitical tensions rising.

The Sensex was trading at 56,945.17, down by  417.03 points or 0.73% and the Nifty 50 was trading at 17,035.75 down by 117.25 points or 0.68%.

The top five gainers in the Nifty 50 pack are Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Auto, Hindalco Industries, Maruti Suzuki, and JSW Steel. Meanwhile, the top five stocks pulling down the index are HDFC, HDFC Life Insurance Company, UPL, Nestle India, and HCL Technologies.

BSE Midcap index is trading at a level of 23,567.17 down by 0.94%. The top 3 gainers of the index were Adani Power, Indian Hotels Company, and AU Small Finance Bank. Each of these scrips gained more than 3%. The top three stocks dragging the index were Container Corporation Of India, BHEL, and Rajesh Exports.

BSE Smallcap index is trading at, 27,591.47 down by 0.75%. The top three gainers are GFL, Foseco India, and INOX Leisure. Each of these stocks gained more than 15%. The top three stocks pulling the index down are Future Enterprises, Future Supply Chains, and Reliance Infrastructure.

All the sectoral indices were trading in the red, with only Nifty Media, and Nifty Oil & Gas were in the green.
