The top gainers of Nifty 50 are ONGC, Eicher Motors, and Hindalco Industries. Meanwhile, the top five stocks pulling down the index are TCS, Tata Steel, BPCL, UPL, and Bharti Airtel.
BSE Midcap index is trading at a level of 23,354.14 down by 0.0.97%. The top three gainers of the index include Supreme Industries, Mphasis, and Nippon Life India Asset Management. Each of these scrips was up by more than 2%. The top three stocks dragging the index were Union Bank, Container Corporation, Ajanta Pharma.
BSE Smallcap index is trading at 26,786.03, down by 1.29%. The top three gainers were Indiabulls Real Estate, Balaji Telefilms, and MM Forgings. Each of these stocks gained more than 10%. The top three stocks pulling the index down include Yaari Digital, Dhanvarsha Finvest, and Take Solutions.
Almost all the sectoral indices on the BSE were trading in the red with BSE Telecom, BSE IT, BSE Teck, and BSE Metal dragging the Sensex the most.
