At noon on Friday, the frontline equity indices i.e, Sensex and Nifty 50 were marginally up with Sensex trading at 58,003.90, up by 111.89 points, and the Nifty was up by 68.70 points at 17,390.90 levels, respectively.   

The top gainers of Nifty 50 are Coal India, SBI Life Insurance Company, Larsen and Toubro, HDFC Ltd, and Tata Steel. Meanwhile, the top five stocks pulling down the index Divi’s Labs, Cipla, ONGC, Shree Cements, and UltraTech Cement.

BSE Midcap index is trading at a level of 23,913.56 down by 0.23%. The top three gainers of the index include Vodafone Idea, Voltas, and Adani Power. Each of these scrips was up by more than 3%. The top three stocks dragging the index were Gland Pharma, Info Edge India, and Crompton Greaves Consumer Eelctricals.

BSE Smallcap index is trading at 27,947.08, down by 0.09%. The top three gainers Everest Industries, Sree Rayalaseem, and NXT Digital. Each of these stocks gained more than 12%. The top three stocks pulling the index down include Jindal Worldwide, NRB Bearings, and GRM Overseas.

Almost all the sectoral indices on the BSE were trading flat with BSE IT, BSE FMCG, BSE Realty and BSE Oil &Gas showing bearish trend.
