Opening Bell: Headline indices open in red; Rupee plummets further to hit new lows
On Monday, Indian equity markets began the new week on a negative note.
At 9:40 AM, Nifty 50 and Sensex are trading at levels of 17,070 and 57,300 respectively; down by more than 1.35% each. Top large-cap gainers include Power Grid Corp, Tata Motors, Hindalco and Tata Steel.
