Shares of this telecom company surged on launching cutting 5G services in Kolkata

Launch of 5G services 

In Kolkata, Bharti Airtel has introduced its cutting-edge 5G services. In Haldia, Ranaghat, Contai, Krishnanagar, Puruliya, Bongaon, Bankura, Raniganj, and Kolaghat, Airtel's 5G services are already operational. Customers will be able to use Airtel 5G Plus services in phases as Airtel builds up its network and completes the roll out. Until the rollout is more extensive, customers with 5G-capable smartphones may use the fast Airtel 5G Plus network without paying any extra fees. Airtel will eventually expand its network so that all of the state's cities may use its services. 

The business has removed the data consumption restriction from all current plans, allowing customers to enjoy superfast, dependable, and secure 5G Plus services without having to worry about running out of data. 

Share price movement 

Scrip opened today at Rs 765 and touched its day high at Rs 765. Its 52-week high stood at Rs 877.10 whereas its 52-week low was Rs 629.05. Promoters hold 55.12 per cent, whereas institutional and non-institutional holdings are 40.84 per cent and 4.05 per cent, respectively. Presently, the market cap of the company is Rs 4,35,505 crore.

The National Stock Exchange and the BSE both list the shares of Bharti Airtel Limited, a public limited company having its domicile and incorporation in India. The primary business of the company is offering telecommunications services in India. The business offers enterprise customers fully integrated telecom solutions as well as telecom services using wireless and fixed-line technologies, national and international long-distance connections, and digital TV. 

These services are provided under the umbrella of the "airtel" brand. Through its subsidiary and joint venture firm, the corporation also owns Tower Infrastructure for telecom operations.
