On Friday, a couple of Penny Stocks were catching attention in an otherwise less volatile trading session.
The benchmark indices are seen trading on a flat note. BSE Sensex is trading 44.63 points lower or 0.08 % down at 58,416.66 level.
Among the stocks included in Sensex, L&T is the top BSE Sensex gainer up by more than 1.4% while Bharti Airtel is the top BSE Sensex loser on Friday, trading more than 1.4% on the lower side.
On the other hand, looking at performance the broader markets are displaying in Friday’s trading session, BSE Midcap is trading 0.72% higher and BSE Smallcap is trading 1% up.
Indian Hotels Company, Aditya Birla Capital, ICICI Securities, Oberoi Realty and Jindal Steel are taking top positions in the BSE Midcap index, whereas Emami has experienced a drag of 2.38%
Ramco Systems, Zee Learn, Unichem Laboratories, Reliance Industrial Infrastructure are among the top BSE Smallcap index gainers on Friday.
All the sectoral indices except energy, FMCG, Healthcare and Telecom are trading with positive cues with IT, Capital goods and Realty sectors outperforming in Friday’s trading session.
The price-volume breakout is seen in some of the Penny stocks in Friday’s trading session with several stocks locked in the upper circuit.
