On Tuesday, benchmark indices ended the session on a negative note.

At close, Sensex was down 166.33 points or 0.29% at 58117.09, and the Nifty shedding 43.40 points or 0.25% at 17324.90.

Among sectors, except Nifty IT all other sectoral indices ended in the red. In the broader markets, the BSE midcap index was down 0.5%, while smallcap index was up 0.20%.

L&T Infotech – The company has expanded its Hyderabad operations by setting up a new facility in the city. The 110,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art centre is designed and equipped to house over 3,000 employees and will support the company’s global operations. The centre will focus on delivering digital, data, and cloud solutions to global clients. The facility hosts new-age amenities related to the safety, security, and overall wellbeing of employees. 

Larsen & Toubro - The construction arm of Larsen & Toubro has secured a large order for its Buildings a Factories business from the Government of Odisha to construct clinical blocks and allied infrastructure for a state-of-the-art hospital in Cuttack. The duration of this EPC project is 30 months.

52-week high stocks – From the BSE 200 pack, the stocks of Adani Transmission & Gas and Tech Mahindra have hit their 52-week high prices on Tuesday. Keep a watch on these stocks for Wednesday’s trading session.
