At market close on Friday the Sensex fell by 1.31% and was at 58,152.92 down by 773.11 points and the Nifty was at 17,374.75 down by 231.10 points or 1.31%.

On the BSE, 876 shares have advanced,2438 shares have declined and 94 shares remain unchanged.

These stocks are likely to be in focus for Friday's trading session –

Tata Chemicals Limited: Tata Chemicals consolidated net profit surged 74.04% to Rs 349.35 crore on a 20.54% surge in revenue from operations to Rs 3,141.58 crore in Q3 FY22 over Q3 FY21.The increase in consolidated net profit was mainly due to higher soda ash volumes and the better realisations from the market. Consolidated profit before tax (PBT) soared 59.54% to Rs 406.08 crore in Q3 FY22 from Rs 254.52 crore in Q3 FY21.The shares of Tata Chemicals were down by 4.68% at Rs 914.35 at market close on the BSE.

Hero Motocorp Limited: Revenue from operations was at Rs. 7,883 Crore in Q3FY22, a decline of 19% compared to Rs 9,775.77 crore in the year-ago period. Profit before tax was at Rs. 911 Crore whereas the net profit fell to Rs. 686 Crore as compared to Rs. 1,084 Crore in Q3 FY’21, almost by 36.7%. The shares of the company were down by 0.53% at Rs 2719.45, at market close on the BSE.

Max Healthcare Institute Limited:  Max Healthcare Institute Ltd has announced the deal to acquire Eqova Healthcare Private limited (‘Eqova’), a company with long term exclusive rights to aid development of and provide medical services to a 400-bed hospital to be built on 2.1 acres of land parcel in Patparganj, Delhi, owned by Nirogi Charitable and Medical Research Trust. The hospital will be located on NH 24 expressway and falls on the metro corridor, 300 metre from IP Extension Metro Line. The scrip was 4.70% down on the BSE at Rs 366.

52-week high stocks – From the BSE 500 pack, the stocks of RHI Magnesita, Hindalco, GNFC, and Mahindra Lifespace Developers also have hit their 52-week high on Friday.
