Coromandel International Limited, Garware Tech Fibres, and Kajaria Ceramics have witnessed volume burst in the last 75 minutes of the trade.

As the saying goes, the first and the last hour of each trading session is the most important and active in terms of price and volume. More so, the activity in the last hour is said to be of utmost importance because most of the pro traders and institutions are active at this time. Hence, when a stock sees a good spike in volume in the last leg of trade along with price rise it is said to be the pro and institutions have a keen interest in the stock. Market participants should keep a close watch on these stocks as they can witness good momentum in the short-medium term.

So, based on this principle, we have shortlisted three stocks, which have witnessed volume burst in the last leg of trade along with price rise.

Coromandel International Limited: The stock ended half percent down amid volatility.  Though it failed to end in green, it made huge move on the upper side but couldn’t hold on to its gains. In the last 75 minutes, the volume recorded was 62% of the total daily volume. It is currently extremely bearish, and it trades below its 20 and 200-DMA. After today’s volume burst, we might see some more trading action in this stock in times to come.

Garware Tech Fibres: The stock is down today by 0.27%. It corrected significantly from its all-time high and it looks to bottom out.  The stock traded positively in the morning but fell at the end. Despite being marginally down, huge volume was witnessed as the session was coming to an end. More than 2/3rd of the day’s volume has been recorded in the last 75 minutes. With rising volumes, one can see the stock to be traded heavily in coming days.

Kajaria Ceramics: The stock is down by 1% today to close at 1114.65. The stock has been consolidating since past week, and is currently trading below 20, 50 and 100-DMA. The stock was falling the entire day except for the last hour where it gained about 1.5%. Along with this gain, almost 50% of the daily volume was recorded in this period. This buying by the institutions might hint towards the potential uptrend that is yet to come. One must keep a close watch on this stock.
