Anupam Rasayan, AU Small Finance Bank, and Bharat Electronics have witnessed volume burst in the last 75 minutes of the trade.

As the saying goes, the first and the last hour of each trading session is the most important and active in terms of price and volume. More so, the activity in the last hour is said to be of utmost importance because most of the pro traders and institutions are active at this time. Hence, when a stock sees a good spike in volume in the last leg of trade along with price rise it is said to be the pro and institutions have a keen interest in the stock. Market participants should keep a close watch on these stocks as they can witness good momentum in the short-medium term.

So, based on this principle we have shortlisted three stocks, which have witnessed volume burst in the last leg of trade along with price rise.

Anupam Rasayan: The stock surged over 5% today and outperformed the broader market. It traded flat to positive the entire day and witnessed sharp movement on the upside towards the fag end of the day. The last hour saw the stock to climb nearly 4% with huge volume being recorded. This volume was about 75% of the total daily volume. With buying emerging towards the end along with rising volumes, the stock is expected to trade positivity in coming days.

AU Small Finance Bank: The stock kept on rising as the session progressed and surged over 3% on Thursday. This strong price action was backed by huge volume, which saw stock rising nearly 2% towards the end of the day. Institutions stepped in at the last hour and propelled the stock higher, as more than 60% of the total volume was recorded in the last 1 hour. With today’s price action, the stock can be traded significantly in times to come.

Bharat Electronics Limited: The stock ended marginally higher, in line with the market. However, what it witnessed was a huge volume burst towards the end as it rose nearly 3%. The stock traded largely in negative throughout the day, but the last buying momentum saw the stock to close slightly higher. With above average volumes recorded today, the stock might be trending in near future.
