Vakrangee, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders, and Varun Beverages Ltd have witnessed volume burst in the last 75 minutes of the trade.

As the saying goes, the first, as well as the last hour of each trading session, is the most important and active in terms of price & volume.

More so, the activity in the last hour is said to be of utmost impoin the last 75 minitesrtance because most of the pro-traders and institutions are active at this time. Hence, when a stock sees a good spike in volume in the last leg of the trade along with price rise, it is considered a pro, and institutions have a keen interest in the stock. Market participants should keep a close watch on these stocks as they can witness good momentum in the short to medium-term.

So, based on this principle, we have shortlisted three stocks that have witnessed volume burst in the last leg of the trade along with price rise.

Vakrangee: The stock rose higher by 9% and has made a strong V-shaped recovery on the daily technical chart. In the last hour of Tuesday’s trading session, the stock jumped nearly 2% backed by massive volumes. It closed at day’s high and above all the key moving averages. Active buying interest from the institutions is likely to have propelled the stock higher. With such positivity, the stock is expected to continue its uptrend in the coming days.

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders: The stock traded flat for most time of the trading session but witnessed strong buying towards the end. It soared nearly 9% in the 74 minutes which contributed most to the day’s gain. Heavy volumes were recorded during this period which constituted over 50% of the daily volume. Moreover, the volume was found to be above average. Such strong buying activity is likely to attract traders in next trading session.

Varun Beverages: The shares surged as the day progressed. The stock climbed 6.81% at the end of the day. Most of the buying activity was seen in the last hour when the stock jumped over 2 per cent.  The volumes rose for the third straight day, which indicates rising buying interest. It closed above all its key moving averages and is in expected to be on trader’s radar for upcoming days.
