AstraZeneca, Kaveri Seed Company and Jubilant Pharmova have witnessed volume burst in the last 75 minutes of the trade.

As the saying goes, the first, as well as the last hour of each trading session, is the most important and active in terms of price & volume.

More so, the activity in the last hour is said to be of utmost importance because most of the pro-traders and institutions are active at this time. Hence, when a stock sees a good spike in volume in the last leg of the trade along with price rise, it is considered a pro, and institutions have a keen interest in the stock. Market participants should keep a close watch on these stocks as they can witness good momentum in the short to medium-term.

So, based on this principle, we have shortlisted three stocks that have witnessed volume burst in the last leg of the trade along with price rise.

AstraZeneca Pharma India: The stock surged about 3.72% on Monday. It traded positively throughout the day and gained strong momentum towards the end. It gained nearly 1.5% in the last 75 minutes of the trade and recorded above-average volume during the process. The stock recorded volume greater than 10-day, 30-day and 50-day average volumes, thus indicating strong trading activity. With such positivity, we expect the stock to be traded heavily in times to come.

Kaveri Seed Company Limited: The stock soared about 4.51%. It traded positively amid volatility throughout the day. In the last hour, the stock swung at both ends but gained about 1% and recorded huge volumes. More than 50% of the total volume was recorded during this period. Thus, with such huge buying interest, we can expect the stock to be trending higher in near future.

Jubilant Pharmova Ltd: The stock gained about 2.89% today. It traded positivity amid volatility. In the last hour, the stock recorded above-average volume which constituted over 50% of the day’s volume. Moreover, the daily volume was found to be greater than the 10-day and 30-day average volume. It is likely to stay on traders' radar in the upcoming days.
