/These stocks witness a huge volume burst in the last leg of the trading session!
Affle, Apollo Tyres, and Hikal have witnessed volume burst in the last 75 minutes of the trade.
As the saying goes, the first, as well as the last hour of each trading session, is the most important and active in terms of price & volume.
More so, the activity in the last hour is said to be of utmost importance because most of the pro-traders and institutions are active at this time. Hence, when a stock sees a good spike in volume in the last leg of the trade along with price rise, it is considered a pro, and institutions have a keen interest in the stock. Market participants should keep a close watch on these stocks as they can witness good momentum in the short to medium-term.
So, based on this principle, we have shortlisted three stocks that have witnessed volume burst in the last leg of the trade along with price rise.
Affle: The stock surged about 2.42% and formed a strong bullish candle. It traded positively throughout the day and volume increased towards the end. Moreover, an above-average volume was recorded which is more than the 10-day and 30-day average volume, highlighting larger participation. With the stock being traded heavily towards the end, it is expected to be volatile with a positive bias for upcoming days.
Apollo Tyres: The stock gained about 2.87% on Friday. It traded flat t negative for most of the day but shot up nearly 2.5% in the last hour of the session. During this period, the volume recorded was about 50% of the total day’s volume. Moreover, it received strong buying interest at lower levels and thus, we expect the stock to be traded heavily in times to come with a positive bias.
Hikal: The stock soared about 3.39% during the day. It was mildly positive but attracted huge buying interest towards the end. In the last 75 minutes, the stock gained nearly 2.5% before receding a little. For the third consecutive day, the stock has recorded a rise in its volumes. Thus, the stock is expected to be on trader’s radar in the coming days.
