Bharat Earth Movers Limited, DCM Shriram, and Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers have witnessed volume burst in the last 75 minutes of the trade.

As the saying goes, the first, as well as the last hour of each trading session, is the most important and active in terms of price & volume.

More so, the activity in the last hour is said to be of utmost importance because most of the pro-traders and institutions are active at this time. Hence, when a stock sees a good spike in volume in the last leg of the trade along with price rise, it is considered a pro, and institutions have a keen interest in the stock. Market participants should keep a close watch on these stocks as they can witness good momentum in the short to medium-term.

So, based on this principle, we have shortlisted three stocks that have witnessed volume burst in the last leg of the trade along with price rise.

Bharat Earth Movers Limited: The stock surged about 5.76 % today and closed above its 50-DMA. The stock traded in red in the first half but saw immense buying in the latter half of the session. The stock gained over 5% in the last 2 hours of the trade. About 70% of the total daily volume was recorded in the last hour. This induced volume can be attributed to institutional buying. With buying emerging towards the end along with rising volumes, the stock is expected to trade positively in the coming days.

DCM Shriram: The stock skyrocketed nearly 10% on Tuesday. Interestingly, about 8% of the rally came in the last hour. Owing to this, more than 85% of the total day’s volume was recorded in this period. The stock was quite the entire day and then the institutions stepped in to rally the stock higher. The stock has closed above its prior swing high and looks quite bullish for upcoming days.

Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers Limited: The stock rose over 5% during Tuesday’s trading session. It traded flat to negative and then witnessed huge buying in the last 75 minutes. This rally was accompanied with huge volume as about 80% of the total daily volume was recorded during this period. Moreover, the day’s volume is higher than 10 and 30-Day average volume. With the stock closing at day’s high, the stock is expected to be trading positively in coming days.
