Alkem, Bajaj Electricals, and Balrampur Chini Mills have witnessed volume burst in the last 75 minutes of the trade.

As the saying goes, the first, as well as the last hour of each trading session, is the most important and active in terms of price & volume.

More so, the activity in the last hour is said to be of utmost importance because most of the pro-traders and institutions are active at this time. Hence, when a stock sees a good spike in volume in the last leg of the trade along with price rise, it is considered a pro, and institutions have a keen interest in the stock. Market participants should keep a close watch on these stocks as they can witness good momentum in the short to medium-term.

So, based on this principle, we have shortlisted three stocks that have witnessed volume burst in the last leg of the trade along with price rise.

Alkem: The stock continued to rise higher after the gap down. As the day progressed, the volumes continued to build, and the stock gained nearly three times the previous day’s volume. The stock was quite volatile in the last hour and made a huge swing at both ends. Thus, the stock is likely to be traded heavily with positive bias in times to come.

Bajaj Electricals: The stock soared about 4.47% on Monday. After a huge gap-down, the stock traded in deep red for most of the time. However, it showed a dramatic turnaround and gained over 4% in the last hour. During this period, the stock recorded above-average volume, indicating larger participation in the stock. Moreover, rising volumes have been recorded for the fourth straight day. Thus, the stock is expected to be treated with positive bias next week.

Balrampur Chini: The stock traded flat to positive for most time of the day. In the last 75 minutes, the stock witnessed an amazing buying interest which led the stock to gain about 5% during this period. Moreover, it recorded nearly 50% of the total day’s volume in the last hour. In the end, the stock is about 5.50%. gained about 3.40% on Monday. The stock is likely to trade positive, as validated by above-average volume.
