Bank of India, Central Bank of India, and Fortis Healthcare have witnessed volume burst in the last 75 minutes of the trade.

As the saying goes, the first, as well as the last hour of each trading session, is the most important and active in terms of price & volume.

More so, the activity in the last hour is said to be of utmost importance because most of the pro-traders and institutions are active at this time. Hence, when a stock sees a good spike in volume in the last leg of the trade along with price rise, it is considered a pro, and institutions have a keen interest in the stock. Market participants should keep a close watch on these stocks as they can witness good momentum in the short to medium-term.

So, based on this principle, we have shortlisted three stocks that have witnessed volume burst in the last leg of the trade along with price rise.

Bank of India: The stock surged about 3.30% and closed at day’s high. It traded flat to positive for most time of the day but witnessed heavy buying towards the end, the stock gained about 3.62% in the last 75 minutes of the trade. Moreover, it recorded over 50% of the total day’s volume. As the stock is displaying extreme bullishness, it is expected to be trading higher with much greater market participation.

Central Bank of India: The stock soared about 5.60% on Wednesday. It witnessed huge buying interest towards the end and gained about 6% in the last hour of the trade. Rising volume were recorded for fifth consecutive day, indicating larger trading activity in the stock. After today’s huge volume, the stock is expected to be traded heavier in the coming days.

Fortis Healthcare: The stock rose about 3.32% during Wednesday’s trading session. It traded almost flat for the entire except for the last 75 minutes where it surged about  6%. The stock recorded above average volume which is greater than 10-day and 30-day average volume. With trading activity, the stock will be in radar of many traders.
