These stocks witness huge volume burst in the last leg of the trading session!
Laurus Labs, Gujarat Narmada Fertilizers Company, and Dr Lal Pathlabs have witnessed volume burst in the last 75 minutes of the trade.
As the saying goes, the first, as well as the last hour of each trading session, is the most important and active in terms of price & volume.
More so, the activity in the last hour is said to be of utmost importance because most of the pro-traders and institutions are active at this time. Hence, when a stock sees a good spike in volume in the last leg of the trade along with price rise, it is considered a pro, and institutions have a keen interest in the stock. Market participants should keep a close watch on these stocks as they can witness good momentum in the short to medium-term.
So, based on this principle, we have shortlisted three stocks that have witnessed volume burst in the last leg of the trade along with price rise.
Laurus Labs: The stock was quite oversold as it had faced a severe sell-off in the past few days. However, strong buying emerged today as the stock soared over 6% and registered above average volume. Most of the rally was witnessed towards the end when it jumped about 4% in the last hour of the session. About 75% of the day’s volume was recorded during this period. With the stock trading heavily towards the end, it is expected to be volatile with a positive bias for upcoming days.
Gujarat Narmada Fertilizers Company: The stock closed higher by 4.80% on Wednesday. It traded with positivity till the end and volumes continued to build. It surged above its prior swing high and attracted strong buying interest from traders. In the last 75 minutes, the stock surged 2.34% and recorded good volumes. It closed at a day’s high and is likely to be heavily traded with a positive bias in upcoming days.
Dr Lal PathLabs Ltd: The scrip bounced 4.36% today. It traded flat earlier but soon gained momentum on the higher side. It witnessed a fantastic run of 3.50% towards the end and recorded above-average volume on the daily chart. The volume is found to be greater than the 10-day and 30-day average volume. Considering this, we expect it to trade positively in near future.
