The top five gainers of Nifty 50 were Tata Steel, Sun Pharmaceuticals, JSW Steel, Coal India, and Power Grid Corporation. Whereas, the top five stocks pulling down the index are Wipro, Suzlon Energy, Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra), Sheela Foam, and Brightcom Group.

BSE Midcap index is trading at a level of 25,928. The top three gainers of the index include Jindal Steel, ICICI Securities, and Steel Authority of India (SAIL). Each of these scrips was up by more than 3%. The top three stocks dragging the index include Oberoi Realty, PI Industries, and Bayer CropScience.

BSE Smallcap index is trading at 30,738, up by 0.30%. The top three gainers are Repro India, GOCL Corp, and TCNS Clothing Co Ltd. Each of these stocks gained more than 10%. The top three stocks pulling the index down include GNA Axles, GRM Overseas, and Vikas WSP.

All BSE sectoral indices were also trading flat, with sectors like Realty, IT, Auto and Consumer Durables showing a bearish trend due to the Q3FY22 results of the major companies.
