The frontline index S&P BSE Sensex stood flat during the week and closed at 59,806.28 on March 09, 2023.

However, S&P BSE Mid Cap gained during the week by 0.79% at 24,789.01, while, the S&P BSE Small Cap ended at 28,117.40 gaining 1.0%.

Shares of this diesel engines and generator manufacturer rose by 21.97% for the week from the levels of Rs 319.8 to Rs 390.05. The stock hit its 52-week high during the week after a huge block deal involving around 19 million shares according to Bloomberg report. The promoter and promoter group which offloaded the shares include Jyotsna Gautam Kulkarni, Ambar Gautam Kulkarni and Nihal Gautam Kulkarni.

The top gainer in the small-cap segment Olectra Greentech Ltd. Shares of this company rose by 28.93% for the week from the levels of Rs 521.1 to Rs 671.85. The company informed in the exchange filing that Evey Trans Private Limited (EVEY) has received two Letter of Award (LOAs) from Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) for 550 Electric Buses consisting of 500 buses for intra-city and 50 buses for inter-city operations, respectively. EVEY shall procure these buses from Olectra Greentech Limited and they shall be delivered over 16 months. The value of these 550 buses supply would be approximately Rs 1,000 crore for Olectra. Maintenance of these buses shall also be undertaken by Olectra during the contract period.

RPG Life Sciences Ltd is engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of Formulations (Finished Dosage Forms) and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) in the domestic and international market.
