Trending stocks: Keep a close eye on these small-cap stocks for 6 December 2021
The following small-cap stocks have made fresh 52-week high today – Kewal Kiran Clothing, Prataap Snacks, La Opala RG, Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) and Black Box Limited.
Frontline equity indices Nifty 50 and Sensex on Friday, ended with losses of 1.18% and 1.31% at levels of 17,196.7 and 57,696.4 respectively. Nifty Bank also ended in the red territory at 36,197.1, down by 0.85%. However, Nifty Smallcap 100 index closed the last trading session of the week with gains of 0.82% at 10,827.

KEC International - The company has announced that it has secured new orders worth Rs 1,065 crore across its various businesses as follows -
Transmission & Distribution (T&D): The business has secured orders for T&D projects in India, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas.
Railways: The business has secured an order for the construction of Railway Siding in the conventional segment in India.
Civil: The company has secured an order for infra works in the Water Pipeline segment in India.
Oil & Gas Pipelines: It has secured an order for laying of oil and gas pipeline, through the wholly-owned subsidiary, Spur Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd.
Cables: KEC has secured orders for various types of cables in India and overseas.
To quote Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and CEO, KEC International from a filing with the exchange, “With these orders, our YTD order intake stands at Rs 11,000 crore with strong growth of 2.5 times visà-vis last year. These orders along with the orders announced earlier, reaffirm our confidence in achieving the targeted growth going forward.”
Aurionpro Solutions - The company has recently announced its foray into the payments business, with the unveiling of a payment gateway, “Auropay” that will help enable Micro, Small, Medium and Enterprise merchants to accept and receive payments online seamlessly. The company’s subsidiary Aurionpro Payment Solutions Private Limited (“APS”) has announced the induction of three new board members, which is expected to bring diversity and depth to its board deliberations. The new board members include Surinder Singh Kohli, Dr Rajeev Uberoi and Bhakti Zaveri Metawala.
