Q1FY25 Quarterly Result Announced for Bajaj Electricals Ltd.
Household Appliances company Bajaj Electricals announced Q1FY25 results: For Q1FY25, the Company has achieved revenue from operations of Rs 1,155 crore as against Rs 1,112 crore, a growth of 3.8% over the first quarter of the previous year. For the quarter, the company has made profit before tax and profit after tax of Rs 38 crore and Rs 28 crore respectively, as against profit before tax and profit after tax of Rs 53 crore and Rs 38 crore respectively, in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. For the quarter, Consumer Products (CP) segment of the Company has earned total revenue of Rs 905 crore as against Rs 873 crore, a growth of 3.7% over the corresponding quarter of the previous year. CP recorded an EBIT of Rs 23 crore as against Rs 41 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. For the quarter, Lighting Solutions (LS) segment of the Company has earned total revenue of Rs 250 crore as against Rs 240 crore, a growth of 4.3% over the corresponding quarter of the previous year. LS recorded an EBIT of Rs 26 crore as against Rs 20 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. For the quarter ended June 30, 2024, the Company generated positive Cashflow from Operations of Rs 155 crore Cash equivalents and surplus investments are at Rs 442 crore. The order book as on July 1, 2024, stands at Rs 210 crore for Professional Lighting Projects. Shekhar Bajaj, Chairman of Bajaj Electricals, said “Revenues for the Company have grown at 3.8% with consumer demand having bottomed-out and green shoots visible in in rural demand. Lighting Solutions EBIT margins are at 10.5%, due to improvement in overall gross margins. We continue to maintain strong positive cash flows and focus on our long-term strategic objectives with a continued push on new products and brand strengthening. Household Appliances company Bajaj Electricals announced Q2FY24 & H1FY24 results: Revenue from operations: Rs 1,113 crore (Q2FY24) vs. Rs 1,159 crore (Q2FY23), a contraction of 4.0%. Profit Before Tax (PBT): Rs 45 crore (Q2FY24) vs. Rs 79 crore (Q2FY23). Profit After Tax (PAT): Rs 32 crore (Q2FY24) vs. Rs 58 crore (Q2FY23). Consumer Products (CP) Segment: Total Revenue: Rs 858 crore (Q2FY24) vs. Rs 883 crore (Q2FY23), a contraction of 2.9%. EBIT: Rs 41 crore (Q2FY24) vs. Rs 62 crore (Q2FY23). Lighting Solutions (LS) Segment: Total Revenue: Rs 255 crore (Q2FY24) vs. Rs 276 crore (Q2FY23), a contraction of 7.4%. EBIT: Rs 14 crore (Q2FY24) vs. Rs 26 crore (Q2FY23). The EPC business has been demerged from the company, effective from September 1, 2023. Overall, the company experienced a contraction in revenue and profitability in Q2FY24 compared to Q2FY23. The demerger of the EPC business may have impacted the financial results for this quarter. For H1FY24 the company reported positive cash flow from operations amounting to Rs 92 crore. Additionally, the company's cash equivalents and surplus investments totaled Rs 204 crore. Shekhar Bajaj, Chairman of Bajaj Electricals, said, “The Company has achieved a stable performance amidst a weak consumer demand sentiment. Consumer Products and Lighting Solutions revenues have contracted by 2.9% and 7.4% respectively, for the quarter, due to demand slowdown and pricing constraints. Meanwhile, we continue to monitor the demand and continue to focus on our long-term strategic objectives with a continued push for new products and brand strengthening. Q1FY24 Quarterly Result Announced for Bajaj Electricals Ltd.
Household appliances company Bajaj Electricals announced Q1FY24 results: Revenue from operations of Rs 1,112 crore as against Rs 1,129 crore, a de-growth of 1.5% over Q1FY23. For Q1FY24, the company made a profit before tax and profit after tax of Rs 53 crore and Rs 38 crore respectively, as against profit before tax and profit after tax of Rs 58 crore and Rs 42 crore respectively in Q1FY23. The order book as on July 1, 2023, stands at Rs 1,728 crore For Q1FY24, the consumer products segment of the company earned total revenue of Rs 873 crore as against Rs 855 crore, a growth of 2% over Q1FY23. For Q1FY24, the lighting solutions segment of the company has earned total revenue of Rs 240 crore as against Rs 274 crore, a de-growth of 12.5% over Q1FY23. The scheme of demerger of the EPC Segment has been approved by the NCLT, Mumbai, and accordingly, the EPC segment has been shown as discontinued operations. Shekhar Bajaj, Chairman, Bajaj Electricals, said, “The Company has achieved a stable performance in a challenging environment. Consumer Products revenues have grown by 2.0% for the quarter, despite demand slowdown and pricing constraints. The Lighting Solutions segment is also facing demand headwinds. Meanwhile, we have continued to focus on our long-term strategic objectives with a continued push for new products and brand strengthening.
