Penny Stock SCML Allots NCDs Worth ₹1300 Cr –  What It Means for Investors?

SCML's Board approved the allotment of 13,000 secured, unrated NCDs of ₹1 lakh each on May 13, 2025, worth ₹130 crore via private placement.

Earlier, SCML issued 25,000 secured NCDs worth ₹250 crore across 4 tranches. All were unrated, unlisted, and privately placed.

Registered with RBI, SCML is a diversified NBFC offering lending, advisory, insurance broking, and merchant banking via its subsidiary.

Q3FY25 net sales jumped 106% QoQ to ₹20.28 crore. However, SCML posted a Q3 net loss of ₹45.10 crore vs. ₹0.70 crore loss in Q2.

With a ₹71 crore market cap, SCML gave 360% returns in 3 years, 925% in 5 years. Public holds 86.11% stake; promoters hold 13.89%.
