∙ NTPC Ltd announced that the Lara Super Thermal Power Project, Stage II, has received investment clearance from its board of directors. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 15,529.99 crore. ∙ This power plant has two units, each with an installed capacity of 800 MW, for a total installed capacity of 1,600 MW.
