After being nationalized in 1969, Bank of India now operates 5,148 branches throughout all states & union territories in India, as well as specialized branches. bank is based in India & has 47 branches/offices, including 4 subsidiaries, 1 representative office, & 1 joint venture, at major banking & financial hubs, such as Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, London, Paris, New York, DIFC Dubai, & International Banking Unit (IBU) at GIFT City Gandhinagar. The management team comprises non-executive chairman, MD, & CEO, four executive directors, one nominee from Government of India, one nominee from RBI, two shareholder directors, & another part-time non-official director.
Entire investment portfolio, which deals with government & other assets, money market activities, & foreign exchange operations, is included in the Treasury activities section.
Branch Network: At the moment, the business runs 5,690 ATMs & 5,083 branches throughout India. Additionally, it runs 23 branches abroad.
Domestic Loan Book: category of corporate & others makes up 37% of total. Retail (18%), MSME (17%), agriculture (15%), & government advances (13%) are the next highest percentages.
Retail Book: Residential loans makeup 59% of the book, with mortgages (10%), auto loans (10%), schooling (5%), personal loans (4%) & other loans (12%).
Business Abroad: bank operates 24 branches (23 of which are operating), 1 representative office, 4 subsidiaries, & 1 associate/joint venture, all of which are dispersed over 20 nations & all time zones. Currently, foreign business accounts for 12.5% of the bank's overall activity.
